Here's a free Echo plugin for use with the Pluggo platform...
http://www.staffs.ac.uk/~dp11/Echo_Invaders.zip
Main Features
Maximum 5 second delay time.
'Hold'. Allows one click (controller-twist) action for infinite delay hold time for infinitely repeating sound.
Switchable Band Pass filter, tuneable between 60 Hz and 15000 Hz and can be pushed into overdrive.
Full host automation compatibility of all parameters (except ‘Hold’ which is controlled via MIDI).
Just an experiment in using MAX and Pluggo... enjoy.

Might not be clear to everyone, but this is a pluggo-made vst effect.
Some neat features on this, the hold button was a little scary the first time I hit it, mind. The knobs with wide range values are very difficult/slow to adjust. I had to switch over to default GUI on my host a couple of times to adjust the filter and tap time more easily. Don't know if Pluggo has some kind of way to adjust that or not.
Thanks for sharing. Happy to try more if you have any.
Cheers,
Steve

Thanks for the feedback.
Please download an updated version from the same link. I've changed the dial action to work in a rotary way and you can also point and click on a value. This allows for very rapid changes. Finer increments can still be made using the number boxes.
I always 'dreamed' of having a delay with an instant hold feature after listening to a lot of dub records, that's why I made this plugin.

Hi there, sounds great ...
Now, your ReadMe says that pluggos are cross-platform compatible. This is good news - I've been collecting Mac pluggo freebies for a while and wondered when the PC-made ones would start to appear. But your pluggo , Echo Invaders.dll , seems to be PC-only? It won't show up in Plogue Bidule on a Mac, at least (and I've got other pluggos working there).
Wondering if you need to do some sort of export to get a file that will work on Macs ?
EDIT : Oh, and I changed the file extension to .pi just as an experiment .. but of course it wasn't that easy

Oops, thanks for pointing that out. I developed this on a windows machine and MAX/MSP will only allow me to export the file as a .dll. I won't have access to a MAC for several weeks and then maybe won't get chance to do the conversion. I'll see what I can do though.

Thanks Dave, looking forward to it if you get the chance, dubby delays are always welcome.dave p wrote:Oops, thanks for pointing that out. One more question - the other way round I guess - are you PC guys able to convert mac-made pluggos for use, e.g. those at http://www.sonoria.pl/jk/pluggox.html ? Or is it always the person who made the pluggo who needs to convert it ?

I'm not sure why this would be. I only have the latest demo of FLStudio and the plugin loads and works fine.Rajah wrote:Not working in FL Studio.
Do you have either Pluggo runtime or Pluggo Junior installed?
