Hi!
Does Live have the same thing as "instrument definitions" in Sonar or "Mixermaps" in Cubase?
And if so, is there a place to get them?

Shame really. I might of bought it if it did.
In fact, there aren't many sequencers that I can think of with that feature. Cubase, Logic and I think Muzzys - that's about it.
Shit..! Some of them can't even address more than one MIDI port - Energy XT for example.
I guess that's why they're called 'Hosts' these days.
Ah well, back to Logic.

Sonar have instrument definitions. They haven't changed format since the early versions of cakewalk so there's a huge amount of them out there.
