Hi people,

I've recently bought an EMU 0404 soundcard and am currently trying to get the built in DSP FX to work with logic via ASIO send/returns.

I can route it into the soundcard on any of the 32 ASIO channels but am having problems getting it back into Logic 5.3. I think I'm supposed to be creating some AUX channels in Logic with the inputs coming from the sends in the EMU Patchmix interface.

Has anyone got any experience of doing this and if so HOW?!!?

much appreciated

If you have the latest updates&drivers, you can simply put the effects in your VST folder and use them as VST effects, but they will still draw power from the DSP chip on the card(like UAD/PoCo).Personally though,I think the quality of those effects are nothing to speak of and really aren't worth the trouble, but, see for yoursef.

Oh,I forgot to mention that only EMU's shell .dll(whatever it's called) loads as a VST plugin and you call up the plugins in that, but the whole EMU plugin folder should be in your VST folder.
