This is old news.. they've used computers for some time already to scan certain chord progressions, rythms and melody lines and compared them to 50 years of hit music. Last I heard it's even been quite accurate in it's predictions.

The detector I got from Sony only plays Jay Lo and Celine Dion all the time? But it keeps spitting out candy every time it does, so I was to busy with my mouth full to complain.

Ummm... whats going on with that guy's cheeks and chin? I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him... and judging from the photo, that wouldn't be very far at all.

The herd tends to respond positively to certain sounds, and others negatively. Why is this so hard to beleive? Music effects us subconciously, right? if this is true I'm incline to beleive that music can be designed to be reach the masses's likings.
