i'm not quite sure what you're after, but try TbT's Grease Tube. It makes pretty much anything you put through it sound better.

I thought the voxengo products above were pretty average.

Don't forget:
Voxengo Analogflux Suite for TapeWarmth

The free TbT PocketLimiter is also not bad

Tube/Tape-Warming is a bit subtle for me, but gives the final touch. Some people don't hear the difference. In most cases a good equalizer like Voxengo GlissEQ gives a good rich sound which is also perceived as warmth.

Guess i should have said, id prefer a free one. I had to hunt it down thru FTP but im trying that TBT grease thing. If anyone else has more reccomendations, feel free to add to the list.

TBT's Tube Limit is my fav free warmer. It's more subtle than Greasetube. I own the Voxengo warmers and they are great also. All are different.

hoffy - thanks for the tip on Greasetube. It's absolutely killer on a few distorted lead sounds I'm using. More in the burning territory than warming, but hey, sometimes that what needs to be done.

EnzymeX- Of course Tube Limit is more subtle than Greastube. But subtlety is for pussies.

Grimes- No Probs =)

I tried Vintage Warmer and didn't like it that much. The "warmth' was all greasy.
Sometimes I think it is the built-in limiter everyone's so excited about.

My standard warmer is the Voxengo Tube Amp http://www.voxengo.com/product/tubeamp/. It's subtle, but it can bring warmth to signals that sounds a bit too digital (vocals, samples etc).

By the way, it's freeware.
