Trance synth effect

Hi, Is there any chance to create trance synth effect like professional trance song?I don't have hardware synthesizer, but I have FL studio.

check out the tutorials in FL, i think there's a specific example of this using the peak controller.

that synth effect is delay and then reverb.. pretty simple.. but the sound depends a lot on what settings u have on the delay, play around a bit and you'll see

ok, the demo is really hard to recreate. you need reaktor 5 and years of knowledge. so it's nothing for beginners.

Yes you can do this with the VSTi known as Vanguard!!! Its simple, open a blank patch, create 3 sawtooth oscillations, turn up the fat knob. That will give you the thick fat trance sound. Add filter, reverb, delay, and tweak it to make it sound exactly like you want it.

vangaurd is a bit costly though.

A bit cheese this sample, but the typical trance lead can be recreated very easily if you know how.

Typically it is 2 or more detuned ramp waves going through unison detune, or if your synth doesnt have a unison detune, even a chorus/detune effect can help you achieve the sound. After that, delay (usually set to 3 16th notes) and a lil bit of reverb (make sure to over-use it) is added.

sim synth can do a pretty good supersaw when teamed up with chorus. If you dont have it, its only like $20 if i remember right? Or you could maybe even get a good sound out of 3x Osc.

Try 3rd party plugs though. PolyIbit, synth 1 (would nail this sound), or any of novakill's KILLER's. There are a few more.

You actually can do that with any (thiny sounding) synthesizer (adding my drastically sound fatten technology).

It sounds to me that he wants to recreate the trance gate effect, not trance lead patch. The patch is the easy part. For gate effects I use Albino, Vanguard and recently purchased Maxx Claster's Toxic synth, Vanguard being the easiest to use and has many trance lead patches already included. The $89 was an excellent investment on my part.
