I wouldn't buy either card for the sake of saving DSP since i have pretty much enough DSP for my projects, and if I need more Freeze works like a charm in Sonar, however,if I could afford it,I'd get the 3 components(plugins) for TC's system 6000(VSS3/Nonlin/DVR2) for sure.Other than that I would like UAD's La2a and Pultec, but I'm fine at the moment with Sonalksis EQ,TLAudio EQ-1 and TimeWorks Comp-X,and am considering URS,but if I were to get UAD or PoCo it would be for the plugins, not the CPU power.

In my case it paid to get the PoCo. I have a Dell Precision Workstation with a 1.7Ghz processor...it would cost over $400 for me to upgrade to a 2.4 gHz processor. The PoCo Element gives me the processing equivalent of another 2.8, and the reverbs are fantastic.
