wich plug dose the synth bass fat and strong??
ill try to use with some maximizers but its not so clean!!

for bass, i think the Clean Linen ™ or Lavender Meadow ® scents would work best. Refreshing Spa ™ is pretty good for drums, and i like Hawaiian Breeze ® for making an overall mix more fruity and delicious

actually, I've been getting some good chorused bass sounds, I just run them through a stereo width control and bring back to slightly wider than mono. Works a charm in some instances

Chorus is not really good for bass.
Unisono is better or even dry with some nize saturation / drive / distortion.

Also suboctaver effects work great.

Did you mean accousic or synthetic bass?

He said clean (and I agree with the other posts but I would add Quilted Charmin Ultra to the list) but if you can stand dirty, try running your fave synth bass sound through SimulAnalog's JCM900 set to the B channel, gain up, highs cut and bass and mids boosted.

Yeah, but like I said, chorus can be used for a particular sound without the negative side effects by controlling them. Unisono, saturation, drive, etc, are not inherently "better", they're different. Sure, might be more useful in more circumstances, but don't go throwing around subjective crap like "better".

Multiband compressor, EQ to taste. Maybe it won't make things "phatter", but it certainly gives even the thinner sounding VST's some serious balls.

Well, I like my bass with just a dab of bass chorus from Clone Ensemble: http://www.cloneensemble.com/

It has built in chorus and flanger - pretty cool. And it has a bass mode that lets you adjust the frequency cutoff of the bass signal going through the effect, letting the lower part of the signal pass through, uneffected. It's cool, I think, and it's free too.

errr....

To clarify, I use chorus mostly for the width. Like the "Drive Chorus" preset on aforementioned Bluecat Stereo Chorus.

Something like Reason's Unison is good too. Don't no of
any of the 456.7 plugs that do this though.

Internal ringmod cranks out some fat subbasses sometimes.

edit:is that the ancient greek bassmaster Plato?
