There's Digitalfishphones Dominion. It's not really ADSR, but AS + some extras. It's freeware and you can download it from www.digitalfishphones.com
EDIT: I mistyped the link

nah. thanks so far.
but this nDC is MIDI i need one for audio only.
A simple ADSR envelope plugin, triggered with AUDIO.(not like ndc one triggered with midi.)
hopefully someone know some like this.

what do you mean? where does the output from the envelope go? what does it modulate?

to jump in,
i too am looking for adsr vst effect. i would like to increase attack time of my guitar sound. you know, pluck a string and get a sound with slow attack time like violine or something...
i tried dominion but it seems that its attack time is not long enough for this purpose. so i'm still looking.
setup looks something like this
guitar - ampsim - adsr effect

Seems like you're talking about a compressor...which is like an amplitude envelope. When you say "increase attack time of my guitar" do you meen like speeding it up and increasing it's pitch? What are you trying to modulate? I don't get it.

i simply want to manipulate AUDIO with ADSR feature.
its better than a gate. see, i have a channel full of effects but its boost to much on the end of a sample so i need to cut it. i tried it with resampling but than dynamics and mix is lost. i tried mda envelope, it nearly goes what i need.
thanks

he means he wants to modulate the volume of the signal passing through the effect, with the envelope being triggered by some sort of peak-detection mechanism. these guys just don't know how to express themselves cuz it seems too obvious
you know, my old DOD Tec-4 guitar box had a preset in the noise gate to do that kinda thing. i suspect you need to look for noisegates that have an "attack" control.
oddly enough, i was thinking about making an audio-triggered envelope which generates MIDI CC.

You can do exactly that with NDC´s Midi ADSR.l0gic0 wrote:i simply want to manipulate AUDIO with ADSR feature.

Run your audio file through this plugin. To activate it, you have to send a midi note signal to Midi ADSR. The envelope will be applied when and as long as a note is sent to it. You will need a host, which is capable of sending midi to plugins though.

The guitar volume thing he's talking about is standard on a number of guitar multi effects boxes. There may be a vst version of one, but I'm not aware of it.
Here is my small version:

I can think of some very good applications for an Audio Triggered ADSR. It should be easy to make - just an Amp controlled by an ADSR envelope. A threshold would be necessary to set for the purpose of triggering - with some logic to decide when to 'keyoff'. The sort of application I would use it for would be reverb. A boring reverb tail could be give some shape. (Inverse ADSR would be a good option).

i tried to achive alow attack "violine-like" sound using almost every gate listed here on kvr, but nothing seems to work well. it looks trivial to me, but there is obviously a problem with implementation.
for guitar players:
this is equivavalent to changing volume pot position while playing overdriven amp. mark knopfler use this technique a lot. First pluck a string with volume pot in 0 position, and then he slowly increases the volume on volume pot. if you have good "organic" amp, you will get you guitar sounding like a synth. of course, in this case, with this adsr vst there is no way to control the volume in real time, but thats not what I am looking for. I would be more than happy to set up adsr envelope and play my guitar like it is somekind of synth pad or violine with slow attack time.
hope i'm not hijacking this thread, seems to me we are looking for the same thing
cheers
