Sonic Station 2?

can yiu give us any hint as to formats for downloadable sounds in the pipeline? i mean there's some great sounding stuff on the site (american traveller etc) but at present i'm limited to refills and ..soundfonts (SF2's are great especially, as they work with most samplers - in my case NN-XT, sfz and Vsamp)

Getting warm there.

As for downloadable sound formats, we'll continue to support Reason, SampleTank, Wave/Acid, Aiff/Apple Loops, EX24, HALion, Kontakt, Battery, Rex and many others to be included such as SFz/Project 5 Dimension, Mach 5... maybe not soundfont though. We'll see.

I thought you had a 'soundfonts - watch this space' kind of section but maybe I saw it elsewhere (late nights and caffeine highs do strange things)

Well, as I said, perhaps. The format is sort of overused by misc. shared samples across the net. However, I do like that it allows us to reach more users. No one here particularly uses Soundfonts so I may need to hire someone specifically to do that though. We all use the stuff we make sounds for so it adds a lot of extra fuel to the fire. We're all musicians using the stuff as well.

Yes, we were having some fun weren't we? It occured to us that in order not to disappoint we should change it to a really avant garde ethnic instrument library! But, actually it is more for songwriters of many styles of music. It does have over 50 drum kits in it though. No loops.

Well, it does also have guitars and there is one instrument in particular if I said it had you would for sure know what it is. But, I can't.
