Yeah, his music is better than it sounds :hihi:

I hate it when people describe music as 'evil.' I've done some pretty dark pieces myself--in mood--but if you find demons in music, they are the demons you bring with you.

Have you tried Ligeti? Brilliant and creative work.

If it's not evil, what's the point?

Bones - I didn't know Dead Can Dance is Australian. Anyway, to the initial poster, Dead Can Dance does do orchestral dark stuff. Some stuff that I would't necessarily call 'evil' but is quite dark and very electronic (and somewhat orchestral) is a lot of Klaus Schulze's music. To me, my favorite album of his is Mirage, but some other REALLY good ones (actually they're considered electronic music classics) are X, Timewind and Moondawn. His earlier stuff is also good - Cyborg, Irrlicht. Then there's also Tangerine Dream's Rubycon and Phaedra, Vangelis' score to Blade Runner. I'm sure not many people would consider it dark, but an electronic album I've never heard anyone mention is Wavestar's "Moonwind". It's a lot more upbeat than the albums I listed but it's still very electronic and is very heavily influenced by mid-70s to early 80s Tangerine Dream.
