I've tried the virtual audio cable ( http://www.ntonyx.com/vac.htm ) but it only works with directX. Is there any way to do this with ASIO? I'm using asio4all and Tracktion NFR by the way..

The thing is that I love using tracktion for sampling some fragments of a song on the radio (shoutcast in this case), and then chopping it up and play with it.

Hunt down one of those ASIO drivers for WinAmp and try?
Don't mean to be rude, but that's the simplest way :)

I'd provide you with a link if I could find it from my bookmarks :)

Ahh, found it:

Haven't tried it with a solution such as asio4all, but it might be possible. My soundcard (ESI Juli@) provides a way to route any output to any input, so I'm covered.

Your soundcard's not a Creative one is it? If so, you may be able to use the kx project drivers - these will cover all your routing needs - I often route stuff from WMP to my host via ASIO.

Thanks for the tips, although I can not get it to work. I already have the asio_out thingy for winamp, but that won't let me route the output to tracktion. I can't seem to figure out how to route virtual ins and outs with asio4all either (or if it's even possible).

And no, I don't have a creative card (on this machine). It's a soundmax chip in a laptop, so no kx for me.

Any other ideas?

Just tried to load senderella through DirectiXer (demo) in winamp, but that didn't work either. Just got a weird error message when pressing play.
