i just found out what caused this behavior. it's the "send to plugin" setting in minihost.R.A.W. wrote:just checked in minihost and the plug went totally nuts when i pressed one of the keys mentioned in the manual. shift, ctrl and alt all made the plug to do something like instantly changing all settings, like a randomizer, as long as i hold the key while moving the mouse.. but it didn't do what it was supposed to.

the strange thing is, that all previous versions and the new army-skin-version don't have that problem. anyway, great plugin! thanks!

It was the fact, that there was debug code in the last posihfopit version, when i tried to test another feature. Unfortunatly most hosts doesn't support that. But minihost, which is very true to the specs does. It's now removed and further versions won't have that bug.R.A.W. wrote:just checked in minihost and the plug went totally nuts when i pressed one of the keys mentioned in the manual. shift, ctrl and alt all made the plug to do something like instantly changing all settings, like a randomizer, as long as i hold the key while moving the mouse.. but it didn't do what it was supposed to.

Very nice EQ
I guess THIS is what you call "transparent" - because none of my other EQ's sound like this (namely Classic and Fruity)
May I make a few suggestions? Just a few ergonomic things. If you don't like to take suggestions, just ignore what I'm saying, but I think they could make posihfopit even better.
1. Not have right-click lead to reset-ing the point. This is just something that can easily confuse a beginner or an infrequent user - in my opinion, right-click would always be the same thing: adjusting Q/resonance/sharpness, whether or not you're holding the left mouse button or not.
2. Bigger points. They're just a little small and hard to see, so I think bigger points would help.
3. Graphical representation of Q/sharpness/resonance. You can already see just at a glance what frequency and what amplitude each point is set at, but there's no immediate way to tell how much Q each point has. My suggestions would either be
a. Point Size
b. Point Color
I think having the size of the point correlate to the Q would be great, since you can kind of see how much each point "influences" the EQ-curve. An even better solution would be to vary BOTH color and size - since colors are pretty
. Maybe vary from the current color to a red version of the color, keeping the same gradient/shading, at the same time as increasing from a little bigger than the current size to about twice/three times the size.
Again, thanks for making such a nice EQ
I like the "mildly gritty" sound that it has to it.

Nice!
I also have a suggestion:
A high and low pass filter. HP more than the LP.
But I'd like it to be very steep/strong. To completely cut the freqs, like BugPass or GlissEQ.
IMHO, that'd be useful.
Like: Draggable points at the very extremes (left and right), so that if you leave them there, they don't affect the sound.
But the EQ is already very nice right now. Good work!

Have fun,

Hey Christian this thing sounds very very good. Thanks for the excellent freebie.
You should think about expanding this to a more traditional parametric EQ with a set number of frequency/Q knobs, LP/HP filters, as well as hi/lo shelves and charge a bundle for it
. I love the sound, but I'm so used to dealing with more traditional EQs, so I'm not sure how much I'd use this, though I'd still want the graphical options you've given us now. But again, even though it takes a bit getting used to, this is an incredible freebie, and thanks so much.

I'm sorry this post wasn't about techno.
