I'm stumped...
Logic experts... please!

Strange thing happening... My Reason 3.0.3 has stopped working rewired to Logic 7.1
Logic works... Reason works... But Reason will not make any sound rewired to Logic. I'm using my autoload that has 3 Reason objects, and worked before 3.0.3?? I've replaced the Rewire file, Rex, and Shared Library, reloaded 7.1 again, but no luck... Very strange! And to make matters stranger, it works in T2!! That's a big DOH!

OK go to your environment and check that your rewire (audio) channels are set to rewire channels not instrument channels. For some reason mine became instrument channels with the result that you're experiencing.

DOH! now how does that happen? I checked that before, but I think your right! Seems like they're (audio channels) showing up in instruments for some reason... but not sure how or why they changed?? Very strange, I'll check again! Thanks for replying, I was geginning to think this was futile, with OSX audio down and everything!!

Do you have your Rewire objects set to Bus 6?? I have my objects set to Bus 6, and the audio objects set to rewire Bus 17 and 18 for instance... Bus 6 lets you choose the individual instruments plugged directly into the HW... Bus 17 and 18 (audio) would be the first 2 channels on the HW interface... Right? I still can't get it to work... Arghhh! Don't think anything has changed except Reason 3.0.3?? Weird

Yes the rewire objects are set to 6. Just so I don't miss anything, here's an response I gave elsewhere about setting up Logic and Reason. I think the issue remains the audio objects and their assignment.......
"First check that Rewire is in live mode in your audio hardware preferences.
In the environment, create a new layer called Reason.
Under "new", go down to "internal" and create a rewire object. Create enough of these to cover the amount of Reason devices you're likely to address from inside Logic.
Under "new", create 2 audio objects. Select one of these. Click and hold on "channel" on the left of the screen. Select rewire/RW:Mix L.
Repeat this for your other audio object except select RW:Mix R.
Make sure the respective audio objects are panned hard left and right. Logic doesn't have stereo rewire channels, hence the 2 objects. You can of course make them a group.
Back on the arrange page, click and hold on a lane and select Reason/audio instrument/Rewire L.
Repeat this so that you have L+R and and a few rewire channels.
Now open Reason and create a mixer, subtractor and malstrom. Reason 3 users might like to try the Combinator.
Back in Logic, select a rewire channel (yellow icon) and on the left, click on channel and you should see the reason devices which you can now play like any virtual synth
As you play, you'll see the audio coming into your rewire audio objects. When you record, the regions are created on the midi (yellow icon) lanes.
If space is tight you don't really need the audio channels on the arrange. They can be found in the instruments section of your mixer.
Regions can be bounced to audio just like other software instruments. Automation works using standard cc messages so you might need to research how to address the deeper controls of Reason - but standard stuff like filter resonance on the subtractor work fine.
If you prefer to bypass Reason's mixer, don't create one and route devices directly into seperate channels of the hardware interface. This can also be done for individual outs of devices like redrum and the nn-xt.
Back in Logic, go to your Reason layer in the environment and create more audio objects - this time making their channel rewire 3, 4 etc. Remember to pair them for stereo, grouping them if you prefer. Now you can use space designer et al on your Reason patches and mix entirely within Logic's mixer".
