I use Kjaerhus Golden Modulator - not free, but very versatile and, most significantly, can sync to host tempo. A vibrato is the wet side of a chorus or flanger. Grab the freebie Classic range from Kjaerhus - I think you can adjust the wet/dry balance and use them as a vibrato. I seem to recall I have a tremolo from BJ Soft or Bojo soft or something that is very good for a simple tremelo.

I've yet to find anything either free or paid for that matches the the Logic tremelo plug in .It seems that the Kjaerhus Golden Modulator is probably the best alternative at this time .

I also use GMO-1.
My favourite free tremolo effects are the two by NDC.
Also like, depending on my mood, GVST GLFO, Nomad Tremolo, Rekliner TremoLlama and slim slow slider Simple Tremolo.

I agree ttoz . I miss those very things . While we're at it I also miss the Adverb and the Spectral Gate probably the most since crossgrading to Samplitude although I'm very happy I made the move .ttoz wrote:for tremelo, without a doubt logic's. You can sculpt the curve to perfection and the syncing options are huge.
(dream mode on ) If Apple released a Logic plug in bundle in VST format they would clean up !! Whoops the alarm just woke me up

I've dl'ed some ancient plugs from Thomas Rehaaqth, Db-audio, nomad factory, and pretty much all the NDC and Kjaerhus Classic vst's. Hopefully that should keep me away from GMO-1.
I've heard nothing but good things about it, but I'm ballin' on a budget.
as for logic, i got a demo of V3 or something w/ my delta 1010, years ago. i'm ashamed to say that i couldn't make heads or tails of it.
couldn't even load up a vst! i hate asking for noobish technical help, especially with a demo version, so... I'm too stubborn and stupid for logic.

Tunaman. Its a pitchshifter/vibrato thingy that sounds really wierd. Its is a buzzmachine but you can just download it and use it with the vst buzz effect wrapper thing.
Do not lick the fablanky
