I just dl'd the Live 5 demo and its AWESOME to say the very least. I've been an ACID user for many a year and this is my 1st experience with it and I think I'm in love.
Anywho, my question is this: I set up a sequence (one MIDI track and an audio track) and I somehow did something to make the audio clip "not play". On the session view, the audio appears faded out but if I go back to the clip view, I can retrigger the sample manually but it still doesnt play as part of the session.
The clip is not deactivated, muted, or anything else that I can see...
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

OK, it's late and I'm sleepy so bear with me. My first bit of advice is to go through the tutorials, because they are much better at giving you direction IMO than forums. They are excellent and really get you into the app.
As for you specific issue, there is a Session view and Arrangement view. I believe you're referring to Arrange as Session.
In Session view, you have the matrix where you can trigger clips and scenes. If you trigger something on a track manually here, the 'Back to Arrangement' icon to the left of the transport controls turns red to indicate you are overriding what is in Arrange view. To hear what you have recorded/sequenced in Arrange view, just click the icon and it will play what is in the arrange time line and it won't be greyed out any more.
OK, I'm incoherent but do the tutorials. They really are well done and very useful.
