Multi-format is cool.
I think Kontakt is one of those formats and that exposes the waves right?
That means I could easily remap for WusikEngine and have fun.
Not for redistribution of course!!!!

WOW! Thanks, Squids. I just was just in it for solving the puzzle so this is a very big suprise and bonus.
I think I have bought just about all your disks over the past 8-9 years, so I know it will be stellar.
Thanks again for the August surprise.

Dimension and SFZ! We're actually big fans of Rene's work. Not a lot of people know that Sonic Reality contributed sounds to the Dimension factory sound set. So, this seemed like a good library to support as many formats as possible including Project 5 users who tend to be very friendly as well. We want to show support for them and this is diverse to get started.Frunobulax wrote:Hey Squids, when you say Project 5 is one of the formats, are you talking about Dimension or the DS864 sampler?

You're welcome and it's good to see you. We have some stuff in the works that is going to knock you out by the way. I know it. But, I can't mention just yet. Be prepared for a Sonic Reality EXPLOSION of products in the next couple of months. Drums galore for one thing.fgrittner wrote:WOW! Thanks, Squids. Since we have a real build up of sample library products coming out I will try to do this more and more. It's actually more fun than just sending out a press release which we'll do anyway at some point. But, being around our company forum has some benefits.
Oh and it is typical of me to make something a contest and not even tell you guys until after. But, I didn't even know this was going to turn into a fun little game. However, that's one of the great things KVR is for. All of these developers here and talk about the latest software and sounds... why not have a little fun?
On the drums... yeah, well remember we announced a massive drum library 2 years ago now. Imagine how much more we've sampled since then as well! I am talking about both hits and loops for multiple libraries here. Honestly some of this stuff is so amazingly fun to play with that I am blown away. Cool concepts too. IMap 2 but also other things that have never been done before. You'll see. We've got a really great plan. The only thing that makes me hesitate to talk too much about it here though is that I know a lot of people here are on a limited budget. So, believe me, I don't want to torture you with thousands of dollars of products to choose from that all may be enticing. But, I have no choice. It's what we do. We specialize in sampling EVERYTHING and it just takes a while to get these projects done... years sometimes. But, we also have a lot of pros that make good money in their music from our stuff (and aspiring semi-pros as well). So, for those that can afford it all we've got an unbelievable lineup of products and downloadable sounds coming. Be prepared. For those that have to pick and choose for their budget... well, all we can say is that the more you want to get the better we will try to do so you can squeeze as many of them in.
By the way, we are working out some more rewards for gold and platinum members of www.esoundz.com one of them may be a certain amount of free epointz per month to use toward purchases or downloads. What do you think?

I had been thinking that something along the lines of "one/two free esoundz downloads per month/week/couple-of-months" type of thing would be really cool for gold/platinum members, respectively.
Now that's what I call a benefit! Personally, I could see massive amounts of people becoming platinum members just because they are greedy for the downloadable sounds - if it's really a substantial amount per month (like a subscripition service, with the added value that you get into the service just by buying other products!)

The subscription service is also something we were thinking about. A way to buy a bunch of epointz for downloadable soundz to be given to you each month... like netflix except for sounds.Rellik wrote:I had been thinking that something along the lines of "one/two free esoundz downloads per month/week/couple-of-months" type of thing would be really cool for gold/platinum members, respectively.

There are a bunch of things in the works for esoundz that are really cool. Pretty soon you'll be able to upload your own audio demos (your music, just has to have at least one product sold on esoundz in it... but the rest can be made from other products) to esoundz and show what you used with a link to your personal web page if you have one. Thousands of professionals in the industry check that stuff out too so it's great exposure and it shows what users do with the sounds. Then we'll have some demo contests and all kinds of fun. We're also working on a combi-share program where we allow IKMP files to be uploaded from users (and from us too) that work with ST2XL, SS2, Philharmonik and Studiophonik. We've been talking about that forever but it is finally going to happen this year. We'll host it. Any esoundz member (and membership is free so... go to www.esoundz.com and join if you aren't already a member) will be able to grab all kinds of extra combi patches made by users as well as some from us. We'll make some request threads on this forum here (like the infamous combi thread we have already) where people can help each other out with orchestral multi patches for Philharmonik or super Atmospheric pads for Sonik Synth 2 or "how to do I get the sound from that album" with Studiophonik's vast collection of different brand instruments.
We're making everything work together as a system that promotes getting the music you want to make done faster and better than ever.

congratulations to winners here!
I must say I have been enjoying the refills that I recently downloaded, especially the world percussion, great value. Keep 'em coming please!
Be nice to see some single large banks of instruments for download, then paupers like myself can add to their Natural Studios libraries, fr'instance...for me it's a case of getting hold of just a few acoustic instrument sample banks that i can use over and over, I'm sure I'm not alone here! Your site, this site and Sonic Implants have been invaluable!
Having just discovered your site recently, it's also nice to see developers on the forums, happens occasionally over at Cakewalk...great stuff
