Since the manual's not ready yet, a quick explanation of the controls:

The 3 knobs are for the drive level of each of your 3 bands. The 2 sliders visually sub-divide your frequencies into the 3 bands.

oh and the upper knob is for the higher frequencies and the lower for the bass frequencies....

whoever guesses for which purpose the knob in the middle could be used gets a BetabugsAudio plug-in for free

A mid "suck" knob for the scoped midrange sound that was popular in the 80's.

Sounds cool so far!

It has an interesting interactive thing happening. It seems that as you alter the drive of one band the character of the drive in the other bands shifts. Either that or I've had way too much coffee.

A couple of comments/suggestions:

1) It would be nice to NOT have the plug open with the 'mid drive' knob at 10

2) Greater resolution of the crossover as you get below 1000 Hz. All the way at the bottom it jumps from 20 cycles to 97 to 174 etc.

3) Any chance of a 'solo' or an output trim for each individual band?

If you weren't loking for feedback feel free to ignore me.

Thanks to the betabugs for all your cool free stuff!!!

hey glad you like it... I will forward your comments to the dev team ;)

I can confirm it works in Audiomulch, and sounds good.

The movement of the knobs was occasionally choppy while increasing. I found they sometimes would just stop turning at around 8 or so. I'd have to release the mouse to continue moving them. Not sure if that's a host thing or not.

It would be cool to be able to click on the middle area between the two band delimiters and be able to adjust both bands at the same time but maintain their relative positions.

Cheers for this, always nice to have another distortion around.

have you tried shift dragging.... ?

oh and the knob thingy is due to the framework used.... the mouse only affects the knobs while over the gui.... so it's not a real bug it's more of a feature that's not the very best;)

Those are my favourite kind. :)

I'll have to give this shift dragging a try, then.

Now by shift dragging, I assume you mean holding the shift key down and then dragging.

Tried that out. Strangely, the band marker does not move, but the marker's tooltip read out follows the mouse pointer. Does not affect the sound though.

i second the solo function. Multi-band distortion is hard without it.
