Just use two tracks with the same file and load the EQ into each, one with linear, and the other with the classic mode. Shift solo between them as the track plays.

Prolly the best way.

Aaah! so the linear mode is the other algorithm? In the manual it says it's a separate plugin. I see.. thanks!

One question, what's the difference between Robert Bristow-Johnson peak filters versus Prof. Orfanidis?
RBJ has problems around nyquist (samplerate/2). Prof. Orfanidis calculation is more complex, but don't suffer this problems. So the sound of the upper highs is different. Nothing more.
Could you combine both modes in the EQ? I'd be very interested in comparing them side by side.
Yes, you can. Go download the latest versio here: http://www.savioursofsoul.de/Christian/ ... hfopit.zip

Have Fun,

Man, this sounds so nice!

And changing the modes with the RMB is awesome!

Could use bigger points, tho, as Rellik said.
Not for seeing them, but for seeing their color.

An idea: glowing like colour of the points... aka like lights (with a dark/night backround, maybe - an idea for a skin). These points could be either with dimmed/fading surrounding or just like "closed" analog-like lights, or a combination of the two. Always round-shaped, of course.

But I don't know how would that be exactly in practice, just a thought. Maybe it would suck.

I could try do some skins or something myself, but I don't have a clue where to start and such.
Do you use some common graphic programs for that?

Post

Well I use Adobe Photoshop CS for all my GUIs and find it rather handy... and you can buy version 5 at Ebay for little money.... and if you're really into it upgrade to CS later.. (that's what I did)
