lol,,, tele your great, for sure!telebunke wrote:Looking at how much you get (another 4 CDs plus the ST2.1 sound upgrade) it's definately worth it fot that price. You'll have more choice of everyting and I tell you that it's nice to have maaaaany string patches to find the one that fits you melody in the head soundwise.Ambassador Kosh wrote: Thanks guys! Since it looks like the offer is still available, maybe I'll sign up with eSoundz and get ST2XL.
And when you get it, you may refer to user harmonygardens to get $5 in epointz. That is nice, cause you can use them for your next purchase.

Here here, more about 2.1
I am tapped on cash for a long time, so from what I have gathered there will be more sounds with 2.1 for free, as well as changes to the engine itself correct? is SS2 going to have the same features as ST2.1?
I ask because in my case, I have both SS2 gui and ST2 gui loaded on my daw. If SS2 is keeping updated to the same changes as ST2.1 wouldn't it be smarter for me to just use one gui, and move some sounds around?
Do tell!

The new revised soundset is free if you've bought since May of this year or something like that, $99 otherwise, if I remember right.Mighty_Hero wrote:Here here, more about 2.1

I also don't think that it's been officially announced when SS2 will update to the 2.1 engine so that is another reason why it is a good choice to use the SS2 sounds through the ST2 engine and interface. Another big one is that SS2 is limited to playing only its own sounds, and ST2 plays back all your sounds in ST2 format. That's how I'd handle it and a lot of other folks do too.

Oh well I've had ST2 and SS2 before May.
I guess I can use the ST2.1 interface too.
Thanks man.

Kim from esoundz assured me a few posts back that the 2.1 engine and sound set will be free for customers who bought ST2 (XL, not sure about L) at any point in 2005.Mighty_Hero wrote:Oh well I've had ST2 and SS2 before May. I guess I can use the ST2.1 interface too. Thanks man.
