No, but they're gonna have beautiful Philharmonik girl's underwaer which some beautiful girls will present next year at Frankfurt Musikmesse.
Actually, some companies do that in Frankfurt. Good looking girls, little clothing, to promote the product. A sample-play(er)-mate, so to say.

No, G-strins are just for guitars and other string instruments.
What's the difference of a guitar and a girl? The guitarist doensn't want to take off the guitar's G-string when playing...

on my way back to the airport out of namm 2005 the guys in my shuttle were telling me that some guitar companies had been hiring local LA hookers to help promote their products.

I hope this isn't what you were expecting when we invited you to NAMM last year.Mr. Tunes wrote:on my way back to the airport out of namm 2005 the guys in my shuttle were telling me that some guitar companies had been hiring local LA hookers to help promote their products.
Anyway, no hookiz in the software industry. Although some people call us sound whores.

you are too funny squids. sound whores, gear sluts, it's all the same stuff.
i dont think people would respect a plugin company that uses hookers to try selling their stuff. maybe next namm you should try it though as a sort of market research
i'm sure you have some more good namm stories for us tucked away somewhere. i heard the adam s. novation incident years ago i was happy to read about it again this past week. what's adam up to now?
btw i wear my SR Sample Everything shirt all the time, i also have a red ik collar shirt. great clothing but i wish i had the sonik elementz black T too. we need sonic reality track pants. get rob to design them. and i want sweatbands for when i'm hard at work in the studio with the AC switched off so the hum stays out of the mics.

More Sonikwear coming.
(no track pants though). We can send you a Sonik Elementz shirt. You DID help with that show after all... as well as Kim and Larry O. That was a lot of fun. I still can't believe we played with those guys. You're too young to fully appreciate it probably (except vicariously through an old g'eee'za like me) but Yes was one of my favorite bands growing up. It was fun to pretend to be Yes for a moment. I even used a Receptor with Sonik Synth too! (too as in also and not as in "look who's talking too!
Full scare)
Anyhoo (by the way, we were thinking that anyone who says Anyhoo should qualify for instant punishment. What do you think? Too harsh?
)
Adam roams around. That's all I can say about Adam. He's brilliant but he's also a bit nuts. So is my old partner Gene (TAF). I love those guys. I don't see them much these days though. They're doing their own thing.

well the sonikwear helps cause i stopped doing laundry ages ago so any extra clothing goes a long way
i barely helped carry a motif or two but i think the most work we did was fend off the hoards of men who wanted passes to the show at the booth during the daytime. it was fun.
yes i am too young to appreciate YES, but i had a friend younger than me who was nuts about that band. so it's not really about the age as much as it is music taste. when i was going through a serious rock/prog rock phase as a teenager this group passed me by and i never got into them enough. i think they are great though. i was also happy for you cause i knew it was a big milestone in your life. what a lineup you got out that was impressive.
anyhoo, i say anyhoo a lot and i aint stoppin' now!
Adam and Gene will resurface one day with a company called Sonik Realtors and they will make knockoff products. does TAF means "that's all folks"? or does it mean "Taxpayers Against Fraud" like my google search says?

oh man that's a great story. i missed this one whenever you told it. i guess Tact is up there with having a good ear and technical prowess in this biz.
i think everyone has one of those friends who you're afraid to go around with in fear they are going to say the most bizarre things to people.

I saw the amplitube 2 ad tonight in Electronic Musician(and the SR Ad too!). that babe is hot! is she italian? or american? boy i'd like to have a go with her almost more than the plugin itself. this is the part where squids reveals she's his wife and i get banned from the forum
