Does Soundfont Vienna work in Windows XP?

I have a 24-bits Soundblaster soundcard with support for soundfont but when I try to install Vienna Soundfont v2.3 (latest version, downloaded from here: http://www.soundblaster.com/soundfont/downloads.asp) the installer doesn't work. Is it possible to install this program on a Windows XP machine?

Unfortunatly there's no Vienna Soundfont editor with the install disk of this soundcard... there's just a sounfont loader application to load soundfont into RAM to play midi files with....xander wrote:Didn't you receive a copy of Vienna on the install disk that came with your Soundblaster card? All of the Soundblaster cards I have had before (three to date) have had Vienna on the install disk as well as some other programs and games. 
So, perhaps you have a card that is a 'Soundblaster compatible' card?
However, if Vienna won't work work with it, then you could try "Viena", which is a similar program that is platform/Hardware independent. Go here:

ye the Vienna work with Live 24 i don't have problems using Vienna with Live 24

I found how to install Vienna on Windows XP, I use the Wizard compabilities application & run the installer in Win98/2000 mode & it worked! 
There's really no version of Vienna on the disc that comes with this soundcard, this is a really cheap piece of hardware (50$ canadian) so there's just some soundfont loader app to play midi files with, that's all.
