OH - that could have been more fun to test drive if the demo had all the curves to try out - with only 3 there's not much there...the bypass doesn't bypass the volume knob or the mono button, the volume knob has no db read out so I can make a repeat setting next time...maybe with a coupla more features and better demo I'd like it!

A bit expensive maybe.
Well, I can understand that to a certain degree, but 2 of the "selling features" are pointless still-- the headphone check and the car check.

I also have my doubts that it will emulate a boom box. Part of a boombox's design is to have hyped bass response, and the speakers are chosen with this in mind even though they're cheap usually. A good set of monitors... well, you could always hype the bass yourself with an EQ if you want, but it won't be quite the same.

That doesn't mean it won't work. I will concede that it MAY be able to emulate "shittier" systems like a boombox; however, the headphones and the car are right out. If you're going to need a tester mix burnt onto a CD to try out in your car, you might as well take a second to slip it into your boombox, home stereo, or whatever else you want to test it on.

After all the hours spent writing a song and recording / programming it, I think it deserves to have a spin in your car or a friend's car. ;)

I installed the exe. Uninstalling was impossible by using the 'uninstall' file...
And the DX plugin has to be installed by another utility; the installer only unzips the files...
How is that for a demo?

Now I have no way to only install the demo :(

i was just interested in reading more about it and "possibly" trying the demo

seems as though it may have been a good tool for mixing and mastering. obviously for the "shittier" systems.

maybe I won't try it :scared:

My system is complete shit as it is. ;) You could get better sound through your TV speakers.
