I had the same idea. Unfortunatly i can't work THAT fast. I was out with some friends tonight and unfortunatly sometimes i also have to sleep/eat/etc. Not to mention, that i'm currently learning.multree wrote:it looks good, is easy to use yet you have a very good overview.... it has classic (analog transistor moddeled softclipping) and linear (clean) modes... sounds superb.... is free.....
and well it simply is an awesome tool... and the new masterfopit window is pretty cool to check several instruments and see if they share certain frequencies and mudden the sound...
this window COULD (for it would be a killer feature) also contain spektrum analyzers for each EQ in use.... which would look a bit different in my imagination than most other stereo ones....
so this has several EQ's to be fed from... each EQ sends a certain color graph (and color spectrum) to the master... now the graphs are easy... but the spectrum could be for example.... red/green/yellow/blue/red/green/yellow/blue/red/green/yellow/blue....
don't know what that would look like and if it would be confusing as fcuk... but it's just one idea that came to mind (my mind that is) or maybe it would alpha blend away the spectrums of the eq which are not getting edited in the window... or it could be that this doesn't make sense at all....
But right now it's more a learnig by doing. It virtual acoustics and human-machine-interface and i learn by making a virtual human-machine-interface for an acoustic eq. Or sort of...
Just uploading a new version. Changes:
* Economy mode
* better performance for 96kHz and above
Marketing guys would create a name similar to "adaptive oversampling". They would use sentences like: "After years of research, we came up with a revolutionay algorithm called 'adaptive oversampling' to improve your sound at any samplerate..."
But unfortunatly i don't understand marketing. If so, i probably can't code that good, but earn more money with that crap. Sorry for the sidekicks.
Have fun,
Christian
P.S.: The linear mode and economy uses only about 1% on my machine!

I think it's still the auto-filter. Once started it won't stop until you disable it (change one knob or hit ESC).multree wrote:oh and... error in FL Studio again during shutting down of the app without closing the plug.... have forgotten to writte down the actuall error though.. sorry
If it still runs after the plugin is closed, it crashes
I tried to close it, but since it is an independent thread, it takes sometime to shut it down. Sometimes it's too late and then... crash!
Christian
P.S.: PNGs should also be possible as background, at least i hope so...

Good guess.shamann wrote:Don's quite right, no good for dead people.scuzzphut wrote:why ?tl wrote:OMG...
I just found the AUTOFILTER.
Great for live usage...
But at a guess, you can set a complex EQ curve in a single mouse stroke: easy, fast, convenient. At a guess. Maybe tl knows something we don't?
Cheers,
tl.

You didn't by any chance attend the concert at Burg Wilhelmstein some days ago? What an experience, blew me away, even though I heard most of the songs for the first time as I don't own the new album yet.CWBudde wrote:Sorry for being this late, but i watched a concert of DeeDeeBridgewater on TV.

Christian, thanx for your nearly hourly made improvements/enhancements to this EQ.
Simply fantastic!
Take a rest, and come back with fresh ideas.

Hi
I started making a skin, but i have 2 qusetions :
1- how to change the default font (i would like arial instead of the default one)?
2- Where to have a good colorcode ? I tried to change the colors of the grid, etc. using standard 256 web color, and it did not work...
thank you

Christian,
This is a simply outstanding plugin - thanks for your work on it
Of course, I have some suggestions, too
I think I saw you mention a "light" version earlier in the thread. I would go along with this, too. Ideally it would lose the auto filter, have only 3 or 4 bands and work in economy mode by default. If that would reduce the CPU to negligible, this would be the perfect utility track EQ.
I would like the top and bottom bands to be set to LPF and HPF by default.
Once again - fantastic work. I love this plugin
