Are you trying to delete muted audio/midi parts/events, or just muted midi notes within a part?

Hi
I'm trying to tidy up the arrangement by selecting all the muted parts and deleting them.
There are quite a lot of tiny muted unused parts in the arrangement, and when i zoom out those tracks just look like a thick black line in the arrangement window. so i cant tell if they are muted or not! (Even coloring them wont help)
I know if i could get the all the muted parts deleted then i could have a better understanding of what the music is doing visually.
there used to be a feature on vst to select all muted then you could just press delete.
any ideas?

Unfortuantely, the best I can think is the project browser, where events on a track can be seen. As the muted status is shown they can be selected (on a track at a time basis) and deleted.

use the logical editor, should just be two lines of logic: for all muted events, delete

in fact i bet theres even a logical editor preset to do exactly that
there's lots of super useful logical editor presets, check them out if you haven't already done so
i can't be arsed to boot up my music pc and cubase but let me know if you can't figure it out, i'll open it and try to help you

That is why I asked about what was required. The Logical editor works for deleting muted Midi events, not muted parts, unfortunately. (unless you can get it to work, I have been wrong many times before).

ahh muted audio parts, i was indeed thinking muted midi notes
i will have a play around tonight and see, i'd be surprised if there wasn't a way
have you posted this question on cubase.net?

To the best of my knowledge midi and audio parts have to selected manually and only then deleted...
midi events, of course, there is a preset for it in the logical editor of cubase sx....

in vst there was a way of 'select all muted parts' then i could just press delete.
Since using sx I have changed the way i work, by just deleting parts as soon as know i don't need them.
Is there some sort of 'select all muted?' (For midi and audio parts in the arrangement.)
It seems like a function that would be useful to how people writing music in cubase.
Anyone?
