Add audio track for each audio in you want to use, choose the inputs for this audio track (inputs go as pairs if stereo mode chosen) - and you have multi-track recording/monitoring. Still few issues, which Rich is very likely going to address. I'm running right now 4 hardware synths with Orion, and getting 2 more soon - and I want to integrate my hardware into Orion as easily as possible and use Orion as my mixer (while hardware coming in in separate inputs).Kriminal wrote:dont think so, just multiple MIDI in.aMUSEd wrote:So is there a way to choose more than one audio in yet?
So yes, multiple audio input support has been there since version 5.0.

I just started playing with the dynamic shaper, using OPlat to remaster some of my older audio tracks. CPU useage with the internal effects is almost nonexistent on my 3GHz. P4 system.
I'm using the dynamic shaper and autogain limiter as sends and returning just a bit from both to beef up the original source - works a treat!
I think I'm in love again!

PDC works flawlessly with CurveEQ.. great now I can use curve more in my projects *devious grin*
outside of the PDC, I was initally a bit bummed out looking at the updates list.
However, after actually trying out the new plugins I'm very well pleased. I didnt have an IR reverb so the built-in one was a plus and it sounds good to my ears. The bass thingy and the dynamic shaper will be very USEFUL too - a few minor tweaks of the presets made a very comfortable sounding kick drum, something I'd be pleased to use in a project, also useful for cutting bassline down in goa songs I can see already. So very happy camper here - especially since the update was free.
Now would bitplant please make some skins for Orion PLEASE hehe

Well, Platinum offers much more than just audio recording. Few of the best internal fx are only in Platinum.Stupid American Pig wrote:Is O Pro going to have this- I dont need audio recording, and I dont want to pay 300 bucks for a host I wont use all that much.

Yes, it's basically transient shaper, does the same thing.R'yleh wrote:this update rocks ! This Dynamic shaper thingy is cool, some sort of transient shaping,
wonder why nobody raves on this one.
