Devin Townsend and Stapping Young Lad.

Now i know he's an ugly dude...but aren't we all. Anyway, i've LOVED strapping young lad since day one and the new album Alien, which i have yet to pick up , looks to be great....the only song i've caught on it is "Love?"...anybody else heard it? I'm wondering what all the people here that are into that scene think of devon's production on this album....I think it's killer...but how bout the rest of ya.....especially any "Pro" producers here....just curious.

Seen them live both times they came over here, amazing show. Probably one of the heaviest bands ever... the production is perfect and the dev's screaming is sublime. City has to be one of the greatest albums ever, its just so goddamn heavy and catchy and awesome. As for the new one, alien is really damn solid... so many good moments on the disc, and hearing Love on stage was just mind-blowing.

I think the production sounds great, bass has some nice punch to it.
