Me, Griels and Rav were jamming last night.. with some crazy bassist and a few widdly guitar players.
Was good fun..
It seems to work by always being 1 bar behind? which kinda means your restricted to simple 1 bar riffs? Though I might be wrong?

Has anyone got a fast connection and would be willing to host a server for KVR members?

4 bars in fact (4/4). That's how it works.. You can't get around trans-internet latency, so the principle is to go with the flow and delay by a more 'musical' length of time. It is rather restrictive in terms of making more complicated song structures/progressions, unless you come up with some 'signalling' system to indicate what you're going to do in eight bars time...Glooper wrote:Me, Griels and Rav were jamming last night.. with some crazy bassist and a few widdly guitar players.

Aye, I envisaged something similar many moons ago when Rocketnetwork was first doing the offings.. Glad to see someone finally had the wherewithal to bring it all together. The closest thing so far to real time jamming over the Internet... It does has a lot of the feel of a real jam, with tension building up and people taking turns to solo... Great stuff... I feel privileged to participate in something so new and exciting... This couldn't have happened ten years ago

continuing in having nice jams.
As always & everywhere, we'll be submerged with tons of damn blues/metal guitarists soloing all the way with earbleeding gain
(just kidding)
let's make weird shit, 'till it lasts.

I wonder if anyone would be up for trying some weird ambient melodic electronica jam played using your favourite software & midi controllers etc (of course agreeing in a key to play in or keeping it strictly noise or both!)
