I don't like your chances but you can always use SIR, which is free. It wouldn't make sense for Rich to put all the high-end stuff into the basic version of ORION, what's there now was more than enough to get me going with the product and if you don't want to spend big bucks upgrading, you can always flesh it out with plugins, although if you were trying to match the quality of ORION's you would be spending many times more money.

Coramel has updated his Azura skin for 6.1 so now there are 4 skins to choose from. You can get it from ORION CENTER, here:

Uh, something weird happened.
I opened O the 1st time today and it opened with the Narrow Mixer skin.
My default is nova.
I tried to do the Azura skin and it crashed.
I reload and try Nova, it gives me that freehand.bmp error and crashes.
I try to reload with Nova and again, the freehand crash.
Well, I know what to do.

Ok.

ORION seems to load the skin from the "Nth" directory so when you added Azura it would have pushed NOVA-II down a space, causing the wrong skin to be loaded. Its dumb but that seems to be how it works. So temporarily moving all the skin folders so it goes back to teh default might solve your problem. i.e. Move all you rskins folders [except "Default"] to another directory, then start ORION so that it goes back to the default skin, close ORION, move the skins back, start ORION and choose a skin.

When I insert an instance of Microtonic, open a patch in the first slot and put in some notes in the step sequencer I get no sound and the graphics are sluggish. If I on the other hand open a complete program it works.
