Hey Everyone,
New to the forum - and was wondering if anyone could help out. I have Pro Tools HD2 and Sampletank XL 2.0. I run these on a dual 800mh MAC Quicksilver with 2 Gb of RAM that has OSX Tiger as the OS. This is a FRESH build - done by the store where I purchased.
When I load up Sampletank, with 2 channels, there gets this "sizzling bacon" sound along with it's sounds - then a message that I'm running VERY low on CPU power. Does anyone know what gives? Surely my MAC has enough power and memory - and my Pro Tools rig can handle it.
Any help would be GREATLY Appreciated.

It looks like the minimum spec is a 667Mhz G4; if ProTools or SampleTank isnt capable of utilising your 2nd processor that well, you might be running out of horsepower... Your HD boards obviously dont help ST out at all...
