However, I'm really not too sure if CMFuzz will be on CM again. Perhaps you could ask Ben in the Camelaudio forum on KvR?

The spring reverb is always on the CD (and it sounds like a spring reverb! Not realistic but usable...)

some of the special releases only appear once, for e.g. the 4 band cm special edition of spin E.Q.

According to the back of issue 90's DVD (the one with CM Fuzz on it), "SpinEQ CM" is on the DVD as part of "The CM Studio" - afaik you have to email SpinAudio for a serial (at least I did when it was first given away - things may have changed now?!)diverdee wrote:some of the special releases only appear once, for e.g. the 4 band cm special edition of spin E.Q.
Oh yeah, CM Fuzz sounds good on my drums

cool - I thought they'd only featured the spinEQ once - it's a good freebie.

well, sorry for that post which concerns only myself...
I have found a way to order one issue of CM, but the august issue is #89, and the september issue is #91...
Or, the one i would need (featuring CMcrush and PSP springverb)seems to be #90.
Does anyone can tell me which month is it, and what is on the cover ? (august : it is some spheres with "how to mix digital music" or something like that title, and september it is ableton Live5 as a cover)..
Yhank you

yes the Psp springverb is nice..a tad heavy on cpu, though. Also the vocoder from fruity is nice (though it installs in the wrong folderPolyphonic wrote:The spring reverb is always on the CD (and it sounds like a spring reverb! Not realistic but usable...)
Is there space for a further confirmation that Crusher and Fuzz are the same plug with different graphics?
Trusting CamelAudio & the old Camelphat, I'll surely get one, but which?

Ben said this in a thread in the Camel Audio forum :-

So it would seem they are identical apart from their skins and presetsThe two plugins (CM Fuzz and FM Crusher) offer different presets and GUI, but the underlying DSP is the same in both.

Hi,
Just spotted this thread - missed it earlier for some reason. Thanks Shifrin for posting my explanation re the differences between the plugins.
Yes - any effect you can get with FM Crusher, you can get with CM Fuzz - but you might need to play around and figure out the settings for your self seeing as the presets are different.
In terms of features, the plugins offer several kinds of distortion, a LP filter and a compressor. The compressor definitely has its own sound - try it with the phat mode on and off - the phat mode is really good for squishing drums.

Anyway, I hope I have answered all questions - if not, please re-post and I shall do so.
Thanks
Ben
PS HanafiH - I love that camel picture. Where on earth was it from?

CoolFMcrusher has done wonders on my bass.
