Thanks Jeff - it looks (oops!) good so far. Superfast attack, nice link control & options. I might try it out pretty soon. Very pricey, discount for PSP customers though!

It's got a punchy, crisp, full sound. I love my UAD Fairchild for master bus compression, but this sounds superb.

does it use huge amounts of cpu... compared to something like psp vintagewarmer for example? if you have experience of it that is
will prolly have to try the demo out at some point even i definitely won't have money for it.

I'll give it a go myself a bit later.......but for now it's bfd 1.5/ws2/bt of a top secret product (signed a waiver ya know) before........my plate is too full!

I think the demo is too limited. The only knob I'm able to move is the Thershold. The sound is not better than my Neodynium comp...
Based on the demo, its not worth the $$$...

That is a bit of a joke isn't it. PSP have been burned before by having their copy protection cracked within hours and workable cracks appearing online before the genuine article had a time to generate some sales. My guess is that the various cripples of the demo are there to prevent a repetition.Left Headphone wrote:I think the demo is too limited. The only knob I'm able to move is the Thershold.
Despite that, not being able to adjust the basic parameters - threshhold, ratio, attack and release - to make some comparisons with your current favorite compressors seems to defeat the purpose of offering the demo.

Yeah, I don't think it's justified until it's been out a while and has had a chance to settle in........tooo pricey. I'd do ozone before this one.......
Besides, the vintage warmer is the freakin' BOMB!
