Simple ADSR VST?

Hi SleepyP,

I tried your plugin last nite and so far, I have found out that I have problem with tresholds. It seems that it is very hard to tune the treshold. If I increase the treshold then it sometimes doesnt detect my playing and if I decrease it then it doesnt stop when it is needed. I think separate tresholds for on and off may solve this issue but I am not sure.

Anyway, aside from this, your plugin is great and BPM thingy is great too.

Hmmm, I ve been thinking and I think this may be more complicated then I previously thought.

Separate tresholds will not solve this problem unless you make "off" treshold automatic. I think the treshold should work on some kind of tracking not the signal level but its first derivation (or trend if that makes any sense). I would like to trigger the ADSR envelope when I pluck the guitar string and I want that ADSR get triggered again next time I pluck the note. If you set up the off treshold to track the signal level then I might be very hard to accomplish this, cos the levels are changing very dynamicly.

intriguing. the threshold behavior is basically set up around my own testing with an electric guitar. over here it works nicely. can you send a recording of the audio you're using with it so i can try and figure out what's going on? i figure a high bit-rate mp3 should work since the main thing i'm concerned with is signal level.
