It was a speedup thing, i don't really like to remove right now. But how can i test it by myself? I mean what is DEP and where can i set it up in my OS (Win XP) Do i need a special processor for it?

Christian

AMD Athlon 64 and recent Intel processors have hardware support to enforce DEP. It's enabled in Windows XP SP2 on the Advanced tab of System Properties. Look here for more information.

found it! Now rebooting...

... done. Ok, it's not directly my code. The speedup thing is safe now, but another problem (within the library i used) is wrong.

[EDIT]

I FOUND THE PROBLEM AND FIXED IT!

Download the latest version here:
http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/Christi ... hfopit.zip

it's only the DLL (56k Modem friendly)

From now on i will have two versions:

http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/Christi ... hfopit.zip (development version)

http://www.savioursofsoul.de/Christian/ ... hfopit.zip (last stable version)

[/EDIT]

Have fun,

Christian

nice speed you have!
why do n't you differentiate the versions in the name and offer a (virtual) directory-link?
like posihfopit-stable-1.02.zip (version numbers are a progress allready, thx for that)

Wow, you're too fast for me! :)
I'll give it a try when I get home from work.

All works for me now. Very impressive! Great work and many thanks for going to the trouble of producing this.

I'm sorry, but i can't do anything further. If i change anymore, it will definatly affect the sound and i have to rewrite the whole DSP code to achieve a version which is that fast and do not suffer that much from denormals.
Phuh, i finally found a denormal bug. Please confirm, that you are using either a highpass or a bandpass...

Regards,

Christian

P.S.: If you want to use a highpass to filter DC components, please use one of the yellow knobs. These have less distortion.

ohh mommma! :)
another big thanks for this Christian!! :)
definately will be among of my "usedtonsoftimes" ones :D

just 1 thing, the menu seems like to be unreachable in ableton.

it sounds excellent, and autofilter mode is a pleasure!!!

maybe adding the code of the analyser to run in the back and... daydreaming...

Nice Eq Christian.

One question though: In the manual there is a picture showing the plugin gui with a menu open with all the current settings. How do you bring that menu up - I'm using Cubase SX3.

I think there must be something wrong with the latest version:

linear, linear economy and classic economy sound almost the same (tbh I'm not sure if I hear any difference at all) - however classic mode sounds nothing lke the three others... :?

(and this was different in previous versions)

Classic Economy grows to 35% cpu when no input, if economy is off its 8%.

Linear Economy is 2.8%, very cool ! :)

What a great EQ Christian !
Thanks a lot !!! :)
