i'm messing around with the beta version of mdsp's livecut (which is excellent). i've used it in ableton and in tracktion. but in sonar 4, it doesn't work, as other plugins that require tempo sync information or whatever you call it don't work. i really love sonar, but this one thing about it not having real vst support really bugs the hell out of me. does anyone know if cakewalk has plans to get rid of the "vst adapter" and have sonar actually use vst plugins instead of doing this weird vst/dx wrapping thing? or is there already some way to do it that i don't know about 'cause i'm too stupid to read the manual? i already tried the trick of configuring livecut as a dx-i synth, but it does some weird stuff then and doesn't always work.
please forgive my ignorance.

In the latest versions of the adapter, there is an option to enable tempo sync. When you have scanned your plugins and the list is shown, click on Livecut and select Properties, then tick the Tempo Sync checkbox...finish the adapter process as usual and it should work (it did for me in P5v2 anyway).
