The next pack will be some midi remakes of old CLASSIC loops sampled from vinyl, like the classic "funkydrummer" one from James Brown and more.
By midi remake i mean, i edited the loop, sliced it, loaded it up in halion3 and did around 10 new versions for each one.
I'll post it in a few days(for free of course).
Btw, vicious angel is a member of our site, not me:>

Hey, thats 100% cool with me Villy. But Id be careful cuz there are some numpties around here who'll brand you a warez user for posting classic samples (edited or not).
Post them for me mate (honestly, Im always using old breaks!), but be warned that you might get some heat.

I know exactly what you mean mate:>(thanks), but hehe, im a registered sx3,halion3+other software user, i do some betas from time to time and honestly these are just some loops i've sampled a loooong time ago and edited them only around a week ago:>
Most of the "known" loops found in commercial cds are taken from vinyl as well, i've been sampling since the amiga era, so believe me, im just trying to be helpful:>
Take care

Do you think i could have done that myself 10 years ago?
Cheers!

Hey Krimimal,
Well, anyone could have done it 10 years ago, only difference is that it would be more time consuming. Music is the same, the tools are different, you know it anyway.
I used to use the same method on my atari and a crappy w30 sampler at that time, but editing was 100 times more difficult are there was no undo function hehe.
Anyway, i said "classic" loop remakes, i did not say i would post the original loops as mine, credits goes to the drummers that played those break beats 20+ years ago, who where already sampled extensively in the break beat era, + i am not playing loop guru here and i'm having second thoughts about posting these.
The new versions can be used in music styles ranging from nujazz, breakz or whatever. The only thing the originals have in common is the sounds, the rhythmic part is totally different.
Take care

In commercial cds, meaning commercial Sample cds, were are talking samples here... I dont see which part looks funny to you, if for example you have a look at the best ones, ex coldcuts kleptomania sample cd (1st cd i ever bought) which was released 14 years ago, you'll see that most loops found in new cds and just remakes of that...
