I have tried the Normaliser Plugin, works perfect, even at a -400dB AC noise injection, it hardly uses any extra CPU...now posihfopit is usable to me, really love having 8 EQ bands...Debutante wrote:Have you tried using the Normaliser Plugin from Digital Fishphones. I don't have need for it yet but I will be upgrading to P4 soon and I am interested in knowing how well it works. If you do get it working please leave a note.asseca wrote: The denormal bug is always there in Classic + Classic-Economy Mode, even with NoEQ setting...

I still get "Zugriffsverletzung". It's reproducible:
Select Moog(what's that?), LPF, HPF or Bandpass... then move it around a bit and then RMB click somewhere (not on a point).
This happened in Renoise and Wavelab.
It happened a few times, when I wanted to RMB click on the first (left) point, beacause you have to be very precise to get it, especially from the right.
Then, sometimes when resetting with doubleclick after playing with the LPF, the last point doesn't get resetted properly.
Sometimes LPF raises the overall level a bit or lowers it more noticeably.
And finally, the points get stuck on the L and R edges.
I just hope it's useful info to you. But take your time, of course.

Thanks for the info, i will look into it on monday perhaps. I'm currently kind of busy.ermi wrote:I still get "Zugriffsverletzung". It's reproducible:

Very confusing, because i've run a translator on the dll and there is no string 'Zugriffsverletzung' in it anymore, but maybe i've uploaded an untranslated version.ermi wrote:I still get "Zugriffsverletzung".
I can't reproduce it, very confusing. Maybe it is truely a wrong version. I will upload a new version (with version numbers!) soon.ermi wrote:It's reproducible:

Btw. Moog is a LPF-Filter developed by Antti of Smartelectronix. See http://dafx04.na.infn.it/WebProc/Proc/P_061.pdf for details about this filter.
Internally the range is about 15 pixel wide. That means that you should click 15pixel aside a knob.ermi wrote:It happened a few times, when I wanted to RMB click on the first (left) point, beacause you have to be very precise to get it, especially from the right.

I will have a further look into these problems. I'll be back in an hour for a new version.

Christian

the behaviour that change the filter type when adjusting the Q with alt+drag is sometimes very annoying, maybe it should be better to have a limit instead of this behaviour. what do you think??

Yes, it was probably a strange version or something. But it was written 1.0.7, and it happened with .6 as well.CWBudde wrote:Very confusing, because i've run a translator on the dll and there is no string 'Zugriffsverletzung' in it anymore, but maybe i've uploaded an untranslated version.ermi wrote:I still get "Zugriffsverletzung".I can't reproduce it, very confusing. However, now I dl-ed again (version .7) and it seems to work fine in this regard, no error messages whatsoever.
Ok. But like, if you approach the leftmost point from the right you must be closer to it than if you aproach it from the left.CWBudde wrote:Internally the range is about 15 pixel wide. Thanks.

Ok. Just to clear things a bit...
The redownloaded version worked, but only on one PC, not on the other one.
Then I deleted the registry on that one and it worked well.
So it was not a wrong version, after all.
Sorry for the confusion. I should've tried the registry first.

Ok, enough of joking.
It's not even registry, that was just a coincidence.
It's Auto-Fill. When enabled, the "Zugrifsverletzung" occurs.
This time, I'm pretty sure about it.
Also, when I set to linear, than save as defeault. Then when I reopen, on the UI it says "linear", but in the drop-down menu it says "classic".

Ok, i've decided to do a larger version step. You can have a sneak preview here: http://www-users.rwth-aachen.de/Christi ... 0_beta.zip
Mostly internal changes. But beware: Your presets so far won't work with this version anymore
BUT you can switch down to 6 or 4 bands if you like
I've also finally decided that you can not disable/enable bands. I've got an idea about how it might work efficiently, but i have no idea, how you should control the feature?!? I mean all mousebuttons (incl. Alt, Shift, Ctrl) and double clicks are busy. The only way would be to create a filtertype called 'bypass' for each band. Maybe, maybe not.
Good night,
Christian

I think this is the way to go - if the default preset has all bands set to bybass we're there! - I can't see any disadvantage about this solution!CWBudde wrote: The only way would be to create a filtertype called 'bypass' for each band. Maybe, maybe not.
