on aug 6th he let the SE list know he was going offline. he mentioning mouse related health problems as being an issue. he also said:

i've taken up jainism and am devoting my consequent effort to the arrival of the annunaki.

but being rurik, im never really sure when he's serious about stuff like that.

yep, it totally sucks. I'd rather not have his commercial synths for free (which i gratefully do now), if it meant he was going to continue development and not have all his shit stolen!

I'm not a 'hero' kinda guy, but within the KVR community, xoxos was a heroic figure I admired deeply.
