Just a quick question about Orion. I don't have it by the way, just curious.
Can one enter single click chords as in the FL piano roll? Is there a similar auto chord function and is it as easy to use? I've had a quick look around the official website but could not find the relevant info...nor could I find it in any forum or online review.
Another question is...can I export single Orion patterns to a midi file for use in other sequencers? FL is bugging me for it's lack of ease in this area.

I'm always interested in new hosts and Orion looks interesting but I hardly hear anything about it.

You cannot enter chords in the PR like that but ORION's arpeggiator has some pretty cool auto-chord stuff in it [which I've never really used]. Yes, you can export single patterns as MIDI files.
Download the demo, it is far and away the easiest host to get started with. The arpeggiator is located in every instrument's toolbar, just press the "CFG" button.

I've used the arpeggiator mostly to render some arpeggions into notes. The chord tool works fine too, you give it the chord progressions, rootkeys, pauses, and hit render. You have the chord progression in your pianoroll. It is possible to add own chords (i.e. what notes belong to that chord) to the list by editing one txt file in Orion directory - however it already contains quiet complete set of chords.

The chord tool also works as a "force to chord", meaning it will change the existing notes in pianoroll to follow the chords you've set.

ahh..I see. So, the force to chord function can be seperated from the arpeggiation function and work like Chordworx or similar?

I suppose so. I have never used Chordworx.
