took them damn long enough.
imho, this is further evidence that the internet has given the people at least somewhat of a voice. im convinced that if it wasnt for the leaked tracks, fan reactions, and all the bad press the label got because of it, this album would never have seen the light of day. (as an official commercial release.)
now its up to her fans to show their true support and proove to the record company that fiona is still a commerically viable artist...by actually buying the cd they've been calling for, and not just settling for the mp3 bootlegs everyone downloaded.
if fans dont buy the cd, it will just prove the label's point.

she has a stunning voice - really soulful in an old-school sense, and the music is a world away from MTV singer/songwriters like, er, those people that appear of MTV (hmm, dido, cant think of anybody else)

well, it looks like they fired the original producer, redid the whole cd, simplified it, and commercialized it. im still looking forward to hearing it, but i bet she still didnt get to release the versions she probably wanted to. at least sony/epic let something get released.
