More basic, high quality samples. Originally recorded in 24 bit. To have them be this varied as well as chromatic, multi-dynamic and multiple articulations would require many gigs. We do have material like that waiting to be released at some point (at a much higher price though). This is more along the lines of what you get in Expansion Tanks, Sonik Capsules etc. 1-2 dynamics and around 5 notes or so per octave on average.

Thanks for the details Squids! This still sounds good. I will be looking forward to the larger stuff at some point also! My other question was if you included any special articulation patches for some of the instruments or phrases? These are very helpful when dealing with ethnic stuff...

There are some. Sometimes you have something like a hammered dulcimer just played straight and sometimes with tremolo repeats (nice). Same thing with other instruments like mandolins. There are some wicked instruments on this. There's even a banjolin which is a cross between a banjo and a mandolin. I suppose I should start talking about the instruments. You guys can see the sound list on esoundz. If you want to find pictures of those types of instruments to show and post it that might be interesting (where is Pricer on this? This GB has him written all over it! lol).

Tele, you are doing great! Let's all help Tele out and contribute to some of these links. Remember, these group buys are short. Just 2 weeks so we have to give people some time to find out about it and think (quick). This is so unique and cheap that if it could really take off. It depends how many people realize what the awesome and diverse sound of acoustic and ethnic instruments brings to any style of music from dance to alt rock to world music, scoring etc

That would be nice. Even better: Go to a big forum an open a new thread. There must be many more forums out there for Logic, Protools and all the other big sequencers plus more of them. Do we have Fruity Loops users here, or Ableton? It's not that much effort to start a thread in a forum you know. Just copy my first post from here.

Thought I would bump this thread. This is where all the biggest eSoundz fans hang out. The group is at 64 now, we really need some help to put the numbers up there. The people who hang out over here already know the quality of Squids stuff. We all know how much fun these group buys are, and what great deals they are. The group has been picking up momentum, which is great! Let's see of we can get this one to the next level. We have a shot at a great deal here, but it's up to us to get in there and make it happen. I also want the number to get over 200, but mostly for all three formats! I'm using all three and using those ethnic instruments in any of the samplers is a great option (plus the content from World Traveler!!). The numbers are still pretty low, so let's keep spreading the word! I'm going to send out a bulk mailer to all my Club Cubase members!
