is there a vst effect/program i can hear real time?

is there a program that will process the live input from my keyboard, send it through a vst effect plugin, all in real time? maybe a little latency too..

Almost all of them if you have a low latency sound card.
What is your sound card and what is the latency you are working with?
Do you know how to set the latency on the sound card?

thanks cookie,
that was just what i was looking for...
one problem though...when i record using the wav record output function, the file it creates is unreadable in cubse- a format issue. do you have an idea what format these wav files are that recorded in toby bear.

When you output to WAV, you get a wav file which cubase or nearly any other audio program should read.
