Kinetic $349 Is that a typo, or can you really upgrade to SONAR 4PE (with free upgrade to 5PE and free shipping), for only $349. Cripes, Kinetic is only a $79.00 (street) program.

Sounds like quite the special... I hear that the latest 4.03 update is really smooth... I'm looking forward to seeing what Ron et al. are cooking up for V5.

Its actually just covering their arses. The company I work for [again] gives free upgrades to anyone who orders 6 weeks prior to the announcement of the next version. They do it for legal reasons rather than because they are nice guys [although they are, mostly]. Usually the announcement is 3 or 4 months before release so it means that for almost 6 months you can buy the current version and get a free upgrade to the next one.

The crux of it is that they say they cannot offer stuff like this to customers outside the US & Canada because the distribution is not handled by them.

Pig's arse! Its purely because they don't have to deal with US law outside NorAm.
