Look forward to it.
When I packed in Sampletank I was able to port the best samples over to Halion.

It sounds good, but what does that really mean?echopark wrote:Built-in VSTi Converter. Converts from any VST plugin to any sampler format.
Plus while this sounds incredible, I hate it when companies release info on products that are far down the line. According to the date it is aleast 5 months away. Sometimes I get so excited about a future product, that I up getting frustated when it is not released in a timely manner...
But this does sound great, if I know what VSTi Converter truly is.

i GUESS itll work like chainers .wav / .sf2 export ... you load up a VSTi ... set a preset and tell EXSC which notes to sample ... it then spits out a sampler preset in the format of your choice ...
... whether or not it will let you build layers of synths and effects like chainer does is another matter ...
(for now at least ill stick to using chainer and then converting from .sf2 in EXSC afterwards)

Wow! If this comes to fruition, this will remove the last blocker I have with buying this software.
Cool!

i've had it for a long time, it was like $20 or something when i got it, i know there have been a few price increases...
it's always been a rock solid product for me, and the updates have always come, not super-frequently, but consistently and reliably at least a few a year, which is great... and they've always been free. this is a product i could fully recommend to anyone considering it - never had a problem, and been using it for ages. a true staple.
