The "crystaline" patch asks for PadVoicer.WusikSND. All others work.

Oh no, I'm so sorry! You are indeed right that the patch uses PadVoicer.WusikSND, but listening to the patch, it doesn't seem to make much of a difference when I turn off PadVoicer.WusikSND. It's extremely quiet and subtle, and definitely not necessary to use that patch.
Is there any way you can turn off the 2nd oscillator that contains PadVoicer.WusikSND, or should I send you a version of the preset bank with it removed?
Again, I am extremely sorry I did not catch this during testing.

It's no problem. I can just switch it off and save the preset. Just checking something was not amiss here. Unless you can think of something else in Wusikstation Big Package that might take it's place?

No, trust me, I soloed the PadVoicer oscillator, and it's really quiet. Hardly makes a difference. And I'm not just saying that.
By the way, check out this MP3 I just finished last night. Took me about an hour to make, and I'm semi-happy with it. It was fun:

The bass is the 029 Groovy Jazz patch. The drums are Manystation (as well as the percussion). Both guitars are my playing. So this is all Manystation + live guitars. Enjoy!

So smooth I nearly went back to sleep by focusing on the bassline. Very nice. Any extra processing on the bass? I am not getting such nice bass yet but I don't spend that much time. I just choose a bass patch, some eq and that's about it. Some pointers would be good.

No processing on the bass. Again, that's patch #29: Groovy Jazz -- one of my favorite patches to play around with. The drums are going through some reverb. The melody at the choruses is Manystation with no external effects. And of course, the guitars are heavily processed.

That's why I took the time to make a preset bank with the UBK, so people could just pick a preset and have all the EQ already set. Presumably the preset bank works on your machine (you're running it from Wusikstation and not Manystation, correct? There shouldn't be any differences in the patches, but just curious)morelia wrote:I just choose a bass patch, some eq and that's about it. Some pointers would be good.

Yes Wusikstation. You've done everything hey? Well I guess I better just shutup and learn to play something good. Thanks. This is my go to bass machine now that I have UBK.
