whats your musical goal for the next 5 years?

In 5 years I would like to have a small project studio up and going. Your typical hip hop hardware. sp1200, MPC, triton, blah blah. I have an extra room, and I always planned to make a small project studio in it, and then I would open it for business. I would charge folks to come and record. I would be doing production and all. 20/hr OR 50/track. Not bad for production and editing correct, plus use of resources (my time, CD-R's etc). I live in an area where everyone wants to rap. So the local market for this is all mine! HAHAHAHA!!!

If I can get focused I would hope to start producing some beats/tunes whatever I could fit my lyrics to & hopefully then get some of my old crew to start collaborating.
We've mostly stopped on the musical front, apart from a few who are still doing bits & bobs.
I know so many muso's & vocalists & were mostly doing shitty jobs & not really doing anything musically, for some a reaction to being buggered royally in the past & various other reasons.
would be nice to get something going with all the guys I know, get my little bro & sisters involved also.

Very rich, famous, and influential -- all from the comfort of my bedroom, and with the help of a crack team of female assistants.mark77 wrote:Where do u see yourself in 5 years time? famous? in your bedroom? u get the hint!

putte, TONTO is a very large and famous custom modular synth. While it would be a grand accomplishment to own TORONTO, owning TONTO would probably be a lot more fun.putte wrote:.. it´s called TORONTO, not tonto ..Meffy wrote:Two words: Owning TONTO

Nirvana did a good job of being Nirvana, and the Pixies might have done a better job of being the Pixies, but I don't think anyone's done a better job of being themselves, than when The Doors were The Doors.clueless wrote:i always thought the pixies were far better at sounding like the pixies...mark77 wrote:nirvana...were the best at what they did

It's kind of you to offer. I'm both appreciative and flattered. But I'm very scatter-brained -- utterly incompetent to manage any enterprise involving more than one person.
Well... I exaggerate. More than zero would be more accurate.
Sure would enjoy living in (or owning) a bit of Canada though. *sigh*

Ah yes, something for the KVR member's quirk thread. Meffy's overwhelmingly humble attitude.
No skunk that can send a guy with an IQ above 140 to the dictionary every other post should claim to be incompetent.
