Just the synths?

I've already got SampleTank and only want the synth sounds from Sonik Synth. Is there any way to order just the synth sounds, or buy a separate product that is basically like the "synth" component of Sonik Synth?
Thanks,
Mark

Sonik Synth 2 is really your only option for ST compatible synth sounds. The other sounds it (SS2) has are really good too and are different samples than ST.
The crossgrade from ST seems a reasonable price at esoundz - http://www.esoundz.com/details/viewDeta ... ductID=242

We'll see. You never know.
In the meantime you can buy loads of synth sounds ala carte on www.esoundz.com downloadable.

Loads of synth sounds in the downloadable section of esoundz? When I click on the "synth" section, I see only 10 synths. Only 1 of those 10 has an mp3 demo to audition it. And none seem to be in SampleTank format. What am I missing?

The crossgrade price is quite low. You'd have to pay that for a synth collection of the size of SS2 or maybe even more. I know of no synth sound collection that has a comparable amount of sounds for that price.mle wrote:I've already got SampleTank and only want the synth sounds from Sonik Synth. I suupose you were trying to save some money? In this caese SS2 might be your best options and you'll get some additional non-synth sounds on top.
cheers

Yeah, just trying to save a bit of money. At the current crossgrade price, I'd rather wait and see if I can pick it up bundled with something else I want at a later time, maybe as part of a special deal or group buy or something. But if I could get just the synths for, say, $100, then I'd plunk down the money now.

Just the synths alone account for over two and a half gigabytes of Sonik Synth 2. Seriously, if you're into synths, the Sonik Synth 2 crossgrade is worth it just for the synths.mle wrote:But if I could get just the synths for, say, $100, then I'd plunk down the money now.

The amount of synths is huge. I think there is no synth collection out there with that much choice for less than the crossgrade price. So better save some $ and get the whole thing and you'll get even more. That's the value of the crossgrade and being a repetetive IK/SR customer.mle wrote:But if I could get just the synths for, say, $100, then I'd plunk down the money now.

Oh... that's odd. I could have sworn that all of Sonic Synth 1 was up there ala carte. Hmmmmm. Best I have a look then eh?mle wrote:Loads of synth sounds in the downloadable section of esoundz? But, a lot of synth sounds will be added very soon anyway. New stuff that hasn't been released in certain formats. More news coming on that.
