is it possible to have links or reference to the impulses which are quality and useful?
i might be unlcuky but the few i downloaded were awful and made me give up immediately .
I'll start again from the pc91 ones (as ppl here tend to agree they are good)....but if someone can give some sort of direction that would be appreciated . thx

On the Noisevault archives, there is a rating system.
The Laurent 960 impulses are among the cleanest ever done.

Don't know RevolVerb so cannot comment.
As for the other point, I have noticed the same impulses used in different tools sound different.
For example, If I load up an IR into SIR, it sounds different to the same one in PristineSpace.

Well, Revolverb was that interesting because it did not had any latency, so you could use IR while playing live, which SIR doesn't permit.
But hte time i tried REvolverb, it seemed that the sound was worse that in SIR...
I know revolverb is no good for studio use, but there is a lack of IR plugin (for reverb, but also for compressor and amp's IR) with no latency making their live use possible.
Revolverb was free and downloadable here :

SIR seems to handle the low end poorly - I hear some nasty artifacts on kick drums that I don't hear in PSpace (using the same impulses).
The Spirit Canyons are interesting, but does anyone know of any commercially available sets of "normal" (nicely done plates, for example) impulses? The Noisevault ones are fine but hit-or-miss - I'd like a one-stop library of consistently high-quality impulses for PSpace Light.
