but why that need for host competition and my-sequencer-is-the-best thing?
Bones makes very well-done music with Orion, that's a proof that Orion is a good tool.
I use FL, so I know FL is a very good tool.
anyway, at the end of the road, both do more or less the same things though differently, that's all.

Phew. I was scared you might come in here and link us some old pack of non-additional sounds. That would've sucked. A new pack of additional sounds is much better!

Bones you're right...
Orion is definitely the worst sequencer available. it should rot in hell, as well as the people who use it and most especially those who make a sort of EBM and develop killer synths.
your turn now.

That's more like it! Fruity is a bad practical joke played on idiots who would rather spend their money on Belgian software than Belgian beer.

Orion is for people who think they're cooler than the rest because they use a sequencer no one use.
Cubase is for people who think that using the sequencer most often used by pro makes them more pro.
FL comes from belgium. some of the best electronic bands came from belgium (front 242, the klinik...)
stupid reason but I feel stupid tonight. well, like every other night, you'd say...
is that the right attitude Bones?

I love the Beligian software and all, but let's not go overboard.

How about boring sycophants?
Bones is always right, and Orion is the easiest host with the most and sounds great in boots and spats.
Orion is smilin and bees don't have the need for knees.
Party on Garth.

whoa, calm down buddy... i was making a joke -- kidding around... lol i think the real joke, you just made it.. that version numbers matter.BONES wrote:And yet, strangely, ORION sits at version 6 whilst Fruity, which had 2.5 head-start, is still languishing at v5. Go figure.Jaeson Merrill wrote:\BONES wrote:Look at that, 9 pages for a host no-one uses. Krim and I have been busy.
well, when there's one thread a year on it..
reason is version 3 now, i would never consider it compared to either orion OR FL.. o and, since Sonar is version 4, which is an extention of Sonar, which went to version 9, they are really at 13, which totally kicks both of our asses.
get over it
