neowin's UXTheme patch is great.. and what I've always used to get access to skinning XP with visual styles. No tricks.. just gives you access to what is already there! and free

anyone else having problems with it? I dunno how or why it would crash eXT... they are all 32bit images... any skinners have any experience with crashing skins?
btw Soma, maybe I can make the icons smaller... I run 1400x1050 so they feel about right on my system... but I kinda forgot they might be a bit big in alternate resolutions.

how strange... plastique.. your version causes an access violation on my system when I try to load it. Seems there is a skinning bug deep in here somewhere.

A few comments about your skin modular (and that's only cause i love it
)
The seq looks great, but the now time is really hard to see especially in a loop region (even more in the midi editor cause the time line is all white). Same thing for the vst comps in teh main window. Actually anything in that yellow is really hard to discern when dealing with the lighter beige color (maybe you could make the yellow a bit more orange ?)
Besides that it's great.
Cheers and thanks for your work.
PS : oh yeah there is actually one thing that bugs me. My flashy custom parts colors just ruins your work, and i need to find some fine pastel colors now
EDIT : I just realised that my comment about the yellow color also applies to the samples in the audio parts, and that's a bit more troublesome.

@rsmus7.. even stranger thing, platisque's skin now loads with no problem..
@disturb.. okee doke, noted about the yellow. Originally I made it a lighter blue because of those exact concerns.. yellow on beige. I'll try to find a better color than fits stylisticly.
